10 things you don't need

I am loving how much I see nervous system content on social media these days, but at least once a week I give a good groan at another thing people are saying you "have to have" to regulate your system.

So, here's my unpopular opinion: 
you don't need that stuff. 

If you read my message last week, you'll know how I feel. I don't think you should have to rely on any outside help (people, gadgets, or expensive therapies) to support yourself in the long run. 

I do believe we need outside help for perspective and learning. But, my work is all about giving you the tools and techniques to support 
yourself.

So, here's my list of the top ten things you don't need to invest in to regulate your nervous system:

1. Breathwork
2. Cold plunges
3. Talk therapy
4. Mindset work
5. Meditation
6. Tapping
7. Hypnosis
6. Neurological tools
7. Red light therapy
8. Cryotherapy or oxygen chambers
9. Saunas
10. Gadgets of any kind

You also don’t need “plant medicine,” a cabinet full of supplements, or a particular diet.

Why? Because if you don't understand your nervous system states and patterns already, you may be pushing yourself in the wrong direction. And, that can actually make you more dysregulated (I see this a lot)!!

And, because 
you can support your nervous system in much more simple ways with the work I do.

All you need is you. 
You create your regulation. 

I believe that most things in life can be improved with a more regulated and resilient nervous system.
